Simulated company fair study
Over 400 studens participated in the simulated company fair in Luxembourg
The event celebrated on November 29th, where schools from Germany, Austria, Belgium and Luxembourg took part.
The aim of this fair was to put into practice our theoretical knowledge and acquire experience in business
We went representing our company, Zubirilet. Our aim was to make new contacts for the company, so we can expand to European countries.
Companies had time from 11:30 to 13:00 to prepare the stands.
Lunch time was at 13:00, and after that, the business started. While companies were buying and selling, judges were evaluating each stand, the behavior and the sales amount.
It was interesting to see how did the students manage to attract people to their stands. They use different marketing techniques like offering sweets or little souvenirs.
It was very interesting to see how they place the products and the way they use to sell them.
Some of them use demonstrations to attract people to their stands. For example ,in one of the stands , where they were selling musical instruments, some of the students started playing music .
Another way to catch the attention was dressing with flashy uniforms or costumes .
Speaking about the advertisement, they were many diferent types of them, but the most common ones was the advertising sign , people wearing T-shirt with the logo of he products and some others were giving stickers .
Just to finish speaking about the simulated company fair, we would like to say it was very well organized .They managed very well the stands and they took care almost about everything, it was a really good experience.
